They live on…❤

There is a saying that you shouldn’t let the left hand know what the right hand is doing… But I also know that information is key, not only for self knowledge but also to encourage others. As I have said time and time again, the extra bonus for me is keeping the names of my ancestors alive as I promised and will do so until I can’t anymore. 🤞🏾

On Christmas day, my family put together just over 100 medical kits for the Pixyah community. Yesterday, I walked the streets with a group of awesome women passing out those kits, pizza and juice while Cai and Coy worked with others to pass out the rest at the home of the first family that touched my heart in this beautiful little community.

As I’ve had a chance to reflect on yesterday: the effort of all volunteers, the smiles, surprised faces, hugs, appreciation from the locals and the knowledge that my ancestors are in my heart… All I feel is gratitude and determination.

With tears in my eyes, I thank these angels for truly seeing my heart and helping make this possible through their donations. They did not ask to be recognized but I am a firm believer in showing appreciation. People don’t HAVE to do anything so when they do, I am grateful. Because of these wonderful people, we were able to provide:

100+ Medical kits with pain and cold meds, alcohol pads, bandaids, gauze, gloves, cotton balls and q-tips
33 of the 48 boxes of Pizzas

May God bless each of you 100 fold.

THANK YOU Nama Lucia for letting your heart shine so brightly and allowing Ruby’s House and The Hardy Brothers’ Foundation to participate in such a beautiful experience. Your message had me close to tears. ❤

Stay tuned for our next love project. Even the smallest things can make an impact when done with love.
