Ruby’s House Complete

November 22, 2021

As you know, I’ve been working on Ruby’s House as a transitional living facility in honor of Mom. She was one of the strongest, giving people that I know. She is the reason that I finally decided to finish my first book and why I work so hard. There’s been a lot of ups and downs, unexpected costs, frustration, and tears with this project. We were supposed to be done in July, and it’s still not done. I’m learning to change my perspective. I keep telling myself that it is better late than never because many families will benefit from this program. I pray to raise the funds to help many more.

I will continue to honor my mom, grandparents, and Uncles in all that I do. God knows how much I miss them and how rough these last 2 years were losing them the way we did. My grandmother came to me in a dream to give her blessing to let go. I have a couple more things that my Uncle Rob wanted me to do, and I won’t be satisfied until I do them. I will always grieve them, but I also know I need to LIVE.

A special thank you to Mr Harold Dye, Mr Pat Dye, Chris Helms of Helms Plumbing, Tim Reavis of Reavis Electric, TLR Construction, Jason Haggins of Cornerstone Comfort for helping with the build, and Tasha White of Hope Youth Network for seeing the vision
