We are grateful to have the ability to keep the names of Ruby, Robert Hardy and Ronald Hardy alive through matters of the heart. I am so proud Cai for taking the initiative of planning a Valentine’s party for these beautiful girls in Feb 2024. My heart was also warmed that these girls chose to volunteer rather than having a typical teenage girl Friday night.
The entire time, all I could think about was Ruby, as I held back tears. I know, had she been here, she would have deemed herself “House Mamaw” and showered them with love and hugs. She would have tried to visit every day.
